Our Story

My name is Olga Avila Villarreal, and I’m the proud owner of Maravillas Olga.

I was born in San Bernardino, California, and relocated to Nebraska with my family at the age of 11. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been a creative soul. My school projects were often over the top, and I even won a few awards for creativity.

Today, I’m a mother of four daughters. We are a proud Guatemalan family—both of my parents are originally from Guatemala. Having four daughters has meant planning and decorating four Quinceañeras, each one a beautiful celebration I’ve had the honor to design. My parents are also business owners, and watching their hard work and success growing up inspired me to start my own journey.

In March 2019, I launched Maravillas Olga, an event decorating business. It started slowly, but by 2021, things truly took off. Since then, I’ve had the joy of decorating many family events. It doesn’t feel like work—it feels like a hobby I absolutely love.
